My name is Maria Iyescas and I am the Mental Health Specialist at CCISD. I have my Master's in Social Work from UTA and I will be graduating with my Doctorate in Social Work this year from Tulane University. I have worked as a school social worker, a middle school teacher, and most recently as an associate professor in the BSW Social Work Program at TAMUK for 7 years. My research interests are trauma-informed care and school social work.
