Hello! My name is Monica Garcia and I am a fifth grade teacher at Hicks Elementary. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development. I was honored to be chosen as the CCISD 2020 Elementary Teacher of the Year. I believe that technology integration fosters student engagement, collaboration, and important life skills.
