Introduction to Flocabulary with ELL Support
We’re known for our engaging videos, but each Flocabulary lesson comes with a suite of interactive activities, games and assignments to make the learning experience even more robust. In this introductory session, we will demonstrate how the site is organized, describe the function of each lesson feature and highlight a range of subject and grade level content that students will be able to access.

Google has made UDL possible through Chromebooks and Google. Many tools are built in, while extensions go deeper for full access to the curriculum. We will demonstrate Snap&Read & Co:Writer for Google that feature annotation, language supports, writing supports,accessing data to make decisions, text leveling, and study tools. Participants will learn how to make learning accessible to a wide range of students with diverse learning styles and abilities through technologies for Google. They will see tools that address reading and writing needs stemming from ELL, dyslexia, and learning disabilities.

Track Reading Fluency with Reading Progress in Microsoft Teams
Learn how to track and support your student’s reading fluency using Reading Progress in Teams. In this session, you will learn how to create student groups and create assignments in Teams, as well as how to review and to return work to your students. Reading Progress helps teachers track, organize, and analyze students’ fluency progress throughout the year.

This session is RLA specific. In this session participants will learn a variety of tech applications to use in the classroom for differentiating, reinforcement, and extensions of the skills. Some of the applications that we will be exploring will include: Google Apps, Flipgrid, and Hyperdocs. In this quick session you will be able to see how to utilize small group and whole group lessons with technology.
